Air: Glasgow is served by 2 international airports. Glasgow International Airport is located 15 minutes from the city centre and is Scotland’s international gateway. Frequent direct services are available to the major hubs, such as Dubai, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, as well as North American destinations, with an average of 43 flights from London every day.
Delegates arriving at Glasgow International Airport can take a shuttle bus into the city. The service departs every 10 minutes and stops at the major city centre hotels. Taxis are always available outside the terminal building.
Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is located 32 miles south west of Glasgow. This airport operates Ryanair low cost flights to many destinations.
The airport is served with a direct link to Glasgow city centre, with a journey time of around 40 minutes and tickets are half price to anywhere into Glasgow on presentation of your airline ticket.
Please note: Edinburgh Airport is also about 45 minutes from Glasgow City Centre and is served by over 80 direct international flights. Delegates can travel to/from the airport by a direct bus link to Glasgow’s Main Bus Station, located on Buchanan Street.
