Conference Theme

The innovation gap has become the focus of many governments through the stimulation of National Innovation Systems, a range of incentives for innovation in companies and the improvement of the innovative capability of companies. This gap has a high priority on the agenda of the Scottish government and the initiative for the conference aligns with national programmes and offers an additional dimension, particularly the Scottish Innovation Award. The conference will cover many aspects of innovation and technology management, bringing practitioners, academics and policy-makers up-to-date. In addition, the conference aims at creating a meeting point for companies, and academic institutions, inspiring participants to increase the innovative capabilities of companies and to provide fertile ground for collaboration for all.
The location of the Conference in Glasgow offers the participants an exciting and relaxing atmosphere for debates, discussion, collaboration and enjoying their stay. The local collaborating bodies are ensuring a warm welcome to Scotland and particularly, Glasgow. The programme of the conference embodies essential elements of Scottish hospitality and tourist attractions and there will be possibilities for delegates and partners to enjoy Scotland.
